Make a habit out of drinking a glass of water every time you feed your baby. This will ensure that you are getting your water, and help your body produce enough milk. ||During the day, don't try to catch up on chores while the baby sleeps. Lie down and rest ||The AAP recommends sponge baths until the umbilical cord stump falls off — which might take up to three weeks ||Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently. It’s not the type of soap that prevents the spread of bacteria and viruses; it’s how you wash your hands. ||The sun is the most important source of Vit D ||Make sure your baby wears a hat if she will be in a cold environment ||Infants raised on breast milk tend to score higher on tests of mental development than those on formula ||
