Do not postpone your baby’s vaccines unless he is sick or feverish ||Look for early signs of hunger, such as stirring and stretching, sucking motions and lip movements. Fussing and crying are later cues ||Until your baby is 6 months old, he'll get all the hydration he needs from breast milk or formula, even in hot weather ||Design a kid corner and fill it with things safe for your toddler like Tupperware, toys, empty boxes, etc. ||Exclusive breastfeeding for at least 6 months is the best prevention of food allergies ||The AAP recommends sponge baths until the umbilical cord stump falls off — which might take up to three weeks ||Bathe baby for no more than ten minutes in warm water especially if he shows signs of skin eczema. ||The most important thing on growth curves is how your baby grows over time. If he's small but growing at the appropriate rate, there's usually no cause for concern. ||Don't forget to watch what you say and do around your child: Imitation is one of the ways toddlers learn socially acceptable behavior. ||When your infant is carried, he should be oriented toward the carrying adult ||

We are delighted to announce that My Child Guide © has expanded to open a new clinic in Beverly Hills, 6th of October. The new premises will be a separate branch exclusively for children and pediatric related specialties. Located on Mall 1, villas area beside Dawar El Omda, it will be our pleasure to serve you with the same quality and service you have come to expect of us.

 

Prof Dr. Wael Lotfy will be meeting his patients Saturday and Tuesday from 1.00 – 4.00 pm as well as Sunday and Wednesday from 9.30 – 11.30 pm upon preset appointments only.

 

Daily follow up of patients with our pediatrics specialists Dr. Mahmoud Yosry and Dr. Mohamed El Zoghby on site (upon preset appointments) and through MyChildGuide hotline 2356, using the child’s personal digital file on www.mychildguide.com
