Design a kid corner and fill it with things safe for your toddler like Tupperware, toys, empty boxes, etc. ||If your child's scalp is very crusty, put some baby oil or olive oil on the scalp 1 hour before washing to soften the crust ||Every milestone is an accomplishment, but it means your child is more independent and needs you a little less ||Most newborns need eight to 12 feedings a day — about one feeding every two to three hours ||If you have trouble emptying your breast, apply warm compresses to the breast or take a warm shower before breast-feeding ||Don't let your baby nap in the car seat after you're home as a substitute for crib since it's harder for young babies to breathe in that position. ||Put a photo of a face – yours – on the side of the cot for your baby to look at. Human faces fascinate babies ||Don’t forget to put labels with date and time on your expressed milk bottles to check expiry dates ||Infant constipation is the passage of hard, dry bowel movements — not necessarily the absence of daily bowel movements ||Try to keep other elements of your baby's routine as normal as possible during the strike. ||

Sessions will be held by Mrs. Sherine Khalil, General Psychology Specialist, at our Mohandessin branch. Each session lasts for 45 minutes.

What do these sessions cover?

  • Counseling children, adolescents and parents; providing support and guidance in relational, academic, emotional and personal areas.
  • Observing children and identifying those with specific challenges (hx of abuse, anxieties, ADHD).
  • Planning and implementing intervention programs both on individual and group level.
  • Counseling teachers of students with challenging behaviors.
  • Assessment of children's abilities and personality traits.
  • Integration of children with disabilities into main stream classes.
  • Training teachers on child development, class management and other related topics.

Activities are available in Arabic, English and German languages.
