As a new baby mother who has to breast feed you should make sure that you drink lots of water ... Make a habit out of drinking a glass of water every time you feed your baby. This will ensure that you are getting your water, and help your body produce enough milk. ||When giving suspension or liquid medicines, use the dosage cup enclosed in the package or a syringe ||Set aside time to spend with each child individually, so they don't feel like they're competing for your attention ||Make sure the highchair has a wide base, good fit, adjustable secure straps. Consider a post between the child's legs. ||Your baby should have 4-6 wet diapers per day. This is a great way to monitor if they're getting enough milk ||Only close friends and relatives should visit you during your first month at home. They should not visit if they are sick ||Design a kid corner and fill it with things safe for your toddler like Tupperware, toys, empty boxes, etc. ||Don't forget to watch what you say and do around your child: Imitation is one of the ways toddlers learn socially acceptable behavior. ||AAP recommends to avoid blankets (a potential suffocation hazard) until your baby reaches her first birthday ||After the first hectic weeks, babies take longer naps at predictable times. And you'll become a much better time manager ||

Johnson & Johnson plans to remove potentially cancer-causing and other dangerous chemicals from nearly all its adult toiletries and cosmetic products worldwide by 2015.

Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo contains two carcinogens that are causing environmental groups to boycott the product. The original Johnson & Johnson baby has both Dioxane and a substance called quaternium-15 that releases formaldehyde. The company has said that they are “gradually” phasing out these chemicals, but many products containing the carcinogens are still on the market, both in the US and abroad.

More than two years ago, the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics released the groundbreaking report, No More Toxic Tub, which revealed that popular kids’ bath products – including Johnson’s Baby Shampoo – contained chemicals linked to cancer. They promptly asked Johnson & Johnson to reformulate its iconic baby shampoo and specifically to remove the formaldehyde-releasing chemical, quaternium-15.
