Use a firm mattress and avoid placing your baby on thick, fluffy padding that may interfere with breathing if your baby's face presses against it ||Do not postpone your baby’s vaccines unless he is sick or feverish ||Set aside time to spend with each child individually, so they don't feel like they're competing for your attention ||After the first hectic weeks, babies take longer naps at predictable times. And you'll become a much better time manager ||The more you help your toddler put his feelings into words (“I’m mad. I want the truck.” “I’m sad. I can’t find my bear.”), the less they will show aggressive behaviour. ||Only close friends and relatives should visit you during your first month at home. They should not visit if they are sick ||The only acceptable punishment for our children is time-out. No spanking, no shouting and no threatening ||If every feeding is painful or your baby isn't gaining weight, ask a lactation consultant or your baby's doctor for help ||Never tie a pacifier to your child’s crib or around your child’s neck or hand. This could cause serious injury or even death ||Try to develop passions outside of work. Don't define yourself by your job, and have the courage to be imperfect. ||

We believe that better knowledge, timed advice would definitely lead to better health and future for our children.

 

My Child Guide medical team consist of pediatric specialists carefully chosen under the guidance of our supervisor Dr. Wael Lotfy. They are in charge of constant updating of the data, online and phone service, on site and distant services when needed 24/7.
