The most important thing on growth curves is how your baby grows over time. If he's small but growing at the appropriate rate, there's usually no cause for concern. ||Preservatives, fragrances, harsh soap, rough fabric, sweat, and stress can be potential irritants for babies suffering from eczema ||The more you help your toddler put his feelings into words (“I’m mad. I want the truck.” “I’m sad. I can’t find my bear.”), the less they will show aggressive behaviour. ||Don't ever be afraid to ask for help from a friend or relative. Time away will let you recharge. ||Always check the water temperature with your hand before bathing your baby. Be sure the room is comfortably warm, too ||Proper weight gain is the sign that your baby is having enough milk. Not crying and not comparing with other kids ||Design a kid corner and fill it with things safe for your toddler like Tupperware, toys, empty boxes, etc. ||It’s never too early to read for your child ||By rising the temperature, the body can stop a virus's ability to grow. That's why we get fevers ||Presumably, your baby won't recall events from his life before age 3. Still, these early experiences outline his vision of the world ||
Bedwetting Do’s and Dont’s

Do’s

  • Encourage your child to drink normally throughout the day. It is important that they recognize the feeling of a full bladder.
  • Try To keep an eye on what your child drinks to see if any type of drink makes them produce more urine at night. They can then try stopping drinking it to see if it helps.
  • Ensure that your child has plenty of fruit, vegetables, cereal and fluids. This will help to avoid constipation which can contribute to bedwetting.
  • Ensure that your child goes to the toilet before going to bed.
  • Leave the light on at night to ensure that your child has easy access to the toilet.
  • Make sure that the mattress and bed are adequately protected.
  • Allow your child to help with changing the bed and night clothes. It does help if they are actively involved in overcoming the problem.
  • Stay calm, be prepared and try not to worry.
  • Remember, bedwetting is neither the child’s fault nor the parents. Patience, Love and encouragement will go a long way to resolving the problem for everyone in the family.

Don’ts

  • Do not get angry with your child, it’s not their fault.
  • Do not use waking the child as a long term strategy to overcome bedwetting.
