If your child's scalp is very crusty, put some baby oil or olive oil on the scalp 1 hour before washing to soften the crust ||Plan for regular family meals. Enjoy being together as a family and give a chance for everyone to decompress from the day ||Contact the doctor if your newborn isn't gaining weight, wets fewer than six diapers a day or shows little interest in feedings ||Always check the water temperature with your hand before bathing your baby. Be sure the room is comfortably warm, too ||Try to keep other elements of your baby's routine as normal as possible during the strike. ||Toddler's appetite may change almost daily. Let her be the judge of how much she needs and wants to eat. ||Use a firm mattress and avoid placing your baby on thick, fluffy padding that may interfere with breathing if your baby's face presses against it ||Proper weight gain is the sign that your baby is having enough milk.
