Don't ever be afraid to ask for help from a friend or relative. Time away will let you recharge. ||Always check the water temperature with your hand before bathing your baby. Be sure the room is comfortably warm, too ||Your toddler may be clumsy simply due to her trials to master so many new physical skills at the same time. The more active she is, the more likely she will drop things, run into things, or fall down. ||Set aside time to spend with each child individually, so they don't feel like they're competing for your attention ||Toddler's appetite may change almost daily. Let her be the judge of how much she needs and wants to eat. ||Try to develop passions outside of work. Don't define yourself by your job, and have the courage to be imperfect. ||Don't let your baby nap in the car seat after you're home as a substitute for crib since it's harder for young babies to breathe in that position ||Never tie a pacifier to your child’s crib or around your child’s neck or hand. This could cause serious injury or even death ||The most important thing on growth curves is how your baby grows over time. If he's small but growing at the appropriate rate, there's usually no cause for concern. ||Whenever possible, don't get involved in your kids' clash. Step in only if there's a danger of physical harm. ||
Should i offer my baby some water?

 

You should offer your child water freely as much as he/she wants. Some children prefer to drink sweetened beverages. This is not advised and might be harmful on the long term.

 

Generally, offer your child the same water you are drinking.

 

If you are giving your child bottled water, review the fluoride content of the water. Fluoride is a mineral needed to prevent dental caries and is a component of our bones. Your child needs a minimum of 0.3mg/liter if his/her age is 6 months to 3 years, 0.65mg/liter if his/her age is 3 to 16 years. If your child's drinking water contains fluorides less than what was just defined, ask your doctor or call 2356 for fluoride supplementation advice.
