Infant constipation is the passage of hard, dry bowel movements — not necessarily the absence of daily bowel movements ||Don’t rush into solving your kid's problems. Give him the chance to conclude, all on his own, that things are going to be okay. ||Try to develop passions outside of work. Don't define yourself by your job, and have the courage to be imperfect. ||Bathe baby for no more than ten minutes in warm water especially if he shows signs of skin eczema. ||Every milestone is an accomplishment, but it means your child is more independent and needs you a little less ||The pacifier’s guard or shield should have ventilation holes so the baby can breathe if the shield does get into the mouth ||Alternate the first breast you offer at each feed ||If you have trouble emptying your breast, apply warm compresses to the breast or take a warm shower before breast-feeding ||Presumably, your baby won't recall events from his life before age 3. Still, these early experiences outline his vision of the world ||Always check the water temperature with your hand before bathing your baby. Be sure the room is comfortably warm, too ||

If the child is having a balanced diet, healthy water to drink as described under the same section, he should not be in need of extra vitamins or minerals. One important exception is vitamin D. Our bodies naturally acquire vitamin D from exposure to the direct sun light. If your child is not adequately exposed to the sunlight than he/she will need vitamin D supplementation of at least 200 Units/day.
