Make a habit out of drinking a glass of water every time you feed your baby. ||Exclusive breastfeeding for at least 6 months is the best prevention of food allergies ||The sun is the most important source of Vit D ||Don't ever be afraid to ask for help from a friend or relative. Time away will let you recharge. ||The only acceptable punishment for our children is time-out. No spanking, no shouting and no threatening ||Make sure your baby wears a hat if she will be in a cold environment ||Expressing milk should be painless. If it hurts, stop. ||Whenever possible, don't get involved in your kids' clash. Step in only if there's a danger of physical harm. ||Don't forget to watch what you say and do around your child: Imitation is one of the ways toddlers learn socially acceptable behavior. ||Try to develop passions outside of work. Don't define yourself by your job, and have the courage to be imperfect. ||

If the child is having a balanced diet, healthy water to drink as described under the same section, he should not be in need of extra vitamins or minerals. One important exception is vitamin D. Our bodies naturally acquire vitamin D from exposure to the direct sun light. If your child is not adequately exposed to the sunlight than he/she will need vitamin D supplementation of at least 200 Units/day.
