Presumably, your baby won't recall events from his life before age 3. Still, these early experiences outline his vision of the world ||Sleep sacks and sufficient layers of clothing are safe alternatives to blankets for children less than six months of age ||You'll develop a unique parenting style that is right for your family and may be quite different from your neighbors and friends. ||Look for early signs of hunger, such as stirring and stretching, sucking motions and lip movements. Fussing and crying are later cues ||Children who gain weight quickly during their first six months are more likely to be obese or at risk of obesity by age 3 ||Try to keep other elements of your baby's routine as normal as possible during the strike. ||Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently. It’s not the type of soap that prevents the spread of bacteria and viruses; it’s how you wash your hands. ||AAP recommends to avoid blankets (a potential suffocation hazard) until your baby reaches her first birthday ||Try to develop passions outside of work. Don't define yourself by your job, and have the courage to be imperfect. ||Whenever possible, don't get involved in your kids' clash. Step in only if there's a danger of physical harm. ||
Are vitamins needed routinely?


If the child is having a balanced diet, healthy water to drink as described under the same section, he should not be in need of extra vitamins or minerals. One important exception is vitamin D. Our bodies naturally acquire vitamin D from exposure to the direct sun light. If your child is not adequately exposed to the sunlight than he/she will need vitamin D supplementation of at least 200 Units/day.
