According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the best method of protection against the flu is vaccination and it is recommended that all people age six months and older receive a flu vaccination every year. In addition, MyChildGuide clinics recommend washing your hands frequently; wiping down telephones, remote controls, and door knobs with disinfectant; and keeping tissues handy to stop the spread of viruses.
