The polio virus has been found in the sewers of Cairo, and it appears to have come from Pakistan, theWorld Health Organization said on January the 23rd. Egypt has not had a case of polio since 2004.

According to CDC, a person is considered to be fully immunized if he or she has received a primary series of at least three doses of inactivated poliovirus vaccine (IPV), live oral poliovirus vaccine (OPV), or four doses of any combination of IPV and OPV.

Kindly note that extra vaccines are not needed if your child receives his vaccines at their proper times.
