The only acceptable punishment for our children is time-out. No spanking, no shouting and no threatening ||Do not postpone your baby’s vaccines unless he is sick or feverish ||Trim your baby’s nails weekly after a bath when the nails are softened ||Never pick up your infant by the hands or wrists as this can put stress on the elbows. Lifting under the armpits is the safest way ||It’s never too early to read for your child ||Don’t forget to put labels with date and time on your expressed milk bottles to check expiry dates ||For protecting young children during summer months, apply sunscreen at least 30 minutes before going outside ||Use a firm mattress and avoid placing your baby on thick, fluffy padding that may interfere with breathing if your baby's face presses against it ||Don’t rush into solving your kid's problems. Give him the chance to conclude, all on his own, that things are going to be okay. ||Infant constipation is the passage of hard, dry bowel movements — not necessarily the absence of daily bowel movements ||

We are delighted to announce that My Child Guide © has expanded to open a new clinic in Beverly Hills, 6th of October. The new premises will be a separate branch exclusively for children and pediatric related specialties. Located on Mall 1, villas area beside Dawar El Omda, it will be our pleasure to serve you with the same quality and service you have come to expect of us.

 

Prof Dr. Wael Lotfy will be meeting his patients Saturday and Tuesday from 1.00 – 4.00 pm as well as Sunday and Wednesday from 9.30 – 11.30 pm upon preset appointments only.

 

Daily follow up of patients with our pediatrics specialists Dr. Mahmoud Yosry and Dr. Mohamed El Zoghby on site (upon preset appointments) and through MyChildGuide hotline 2356, using the child’s personal digital file on www.mychildguide.com
