Don't ever be afraid to ask for help from a friend or relative. Time away will let you recharge. ||Trim your baby’s nails weekly after a bath when the nails are softened ||Stop the continuous criticism to your teens. Highlight their qualities instead. ||For protecting young children during summer months, apply sunscreen at least 30 minutes before going outside ||Make sure your baby wears a hat if she will be in a cold environment ||There are parenting mistakes that are harmless. When in doubt, ask your pediatrician ||Your toddler may be clumsy simply due to her trials to master so many new physical skills at the same time. The more active she is, the more likely she will drop things, run into things, or fall down. ||Whenever possible, don't get involved in your kids' clash. Step in only if there's a danger of physical harm. ||Contact the doctor if your newborn isn't gaining weight, wets fewer than six diapers a day or shows little interest in feedings ||The most important thing on growth curves is how your baby grows over time. If he's small but growing at the appropriate rate, there's usually no cause for concern. ||

We are delighted to announce that My Child Guide © has expanded to open a new clinic in Beverly Hills, 6th of October. The new premises will be a separate branch exclusively for children and pediatric related specialties. Located on Mall 1, villas area beside Dawar El Omda, it will be our pleasure to serve you with the same quality and service you have come to expect of us.

 

Prof Dr. Wael Lotfy will be meeting his patients Saturday and Tuesday from 1.00 – 4.00 pm as well as Sunday and Wednesday from 9.30 – 11.30 pm upon preset appointments only.

 

Daily follow up of patients with our pediatrics specialists Dr. Mahmoud Yosry and Dr. Mohamed El Zoghby on site (upon preset appointments) and through MyChildGuide hotline 2356, using the child’s personal digital file on www.mychildguide.com
