Alternate the first breast you offer at each feed ||Most newborns need eight to 12 feedings a day — about one feeding every two to three hours ||It’s never too early to read for your child ||Don't let your baby nap in the car seat after you're home as a substitute for crib since it's harder for young babies to breathe in that position. ||Try to develop passions outside of work. Don't define yourself by your job, and have the courage to be imperfect. ||The most important thing on growth curves is how your baby grows over time. If he's small but growing at the appropriate rate, there's usually no cause for concern. ||Use each feeding as an opportunity to build your newborn's sense of security, trust and comfort. ||Stop the continuous criticism to your teens. Highlight their qualities instead. ||Always keep the number of Poison Centre posted beside your phone ||Whenever possible, don't get involved in your kids' clash. Step in only if there's a danger of physical harm. ||

We are delighted to announce that My Child Guide © has expanded to open a new clinic in Beverly Hills, 6th of October. The new premises will be a separate branch exclusively for children and pediatric related specialties. Located on Mall 1, villas area beside Dawar El Omda, it will be our pleasure to serve you with the same quality and service you have come to expect of us.

 

Prof Dr. Wael Lotfy will be meeting his patients Saturday and Tuesday from 1.00 – 4.00 pm as well as Sunday and Wednesday from 9.30 – 11.30 pm upon preset appointments only.

 

Daily follow up of patients with our pediatrics specialists Dr. Mahmoud Yosry and Dr. Mohamed El Zoghby on site (upon preset appointments) and through MyChildGuide hotline 2356, using the child’s personal digital file on www.mychildguide.com
