Design a kid corner and fill it with things safe for your toddler like Tupperware, toys, empty boxes, etc. ||The most important thing on growth curves is how your baby grows over time. If he's small but growing at the appropriate rate, there's usually no cause for concern. ||Alternate the first breast you offer at each feed ||Sleep sacks and sufficient layers of clothing are safe alternatives to blankets for children less than six months of age ||During growth spurts - around 6 weeks after birth — your newborn might want to be fed more often ||The only acceptable punishment for our children is time-out. No spanking, no shouting and no threatening ||Don't forget to watch what you say and do around your child: Imitation is one of the ways toddlers learn socially acceptable behavior. ||Make a habit out of drinking a glass of water every time you feed your baby. ||Every milestone is an accomplishment, but it means your child is more independent and needs you a little less ||2- Breastfeeding your new baby ...Breast milk provides all the nutrients that babies need for the first six months of their life and guards against many illnesses and allergies. Also, breastfeeding can help build a special closeness with your baby. Breastfeeding is one of the best things you can do for your baby. ||

Sessions will be held by Mrs. Sherine Khalil, General Psychology Specialist, at our Mohandessin branch. Each session lasts for 45 minutes.

What do these sessions cover?

  • Counseling children, adolescents and parents; providing support and guidance in relational, academic, emotional and personal areas.
  • Observing children and identifying those with specific challenges (hx of abuse, anxieties, ADHD).
  • Planning and implementing intervention programs both on individual and group level.
  • Counseling teachers of students with challenging behaviors.
  • Assessment of children's abilities and personality traits.
  • Integration of children with disabilities into main stream classes.
  • Training teachers on child development, class management and other related topics.

Activities are available in Arabic, English and German languages.
