The most important thing on growth curves is how your baby grows over time. If he's small but growing at the appropriate rate, there's usually no cause for concern. ||Reading aloud will help your baby be a better reader when she's older. ||After the first hectic weeks, babies take longer naps at predictable times. And you'll become a much better time manager ||Infant constipation is the passage of hard, dry bowel movements — not necessarily the absence of daily bowel movements ||To help your kid stand up to negative peer pressure, encourage him to talk, use role playing with him, get to know the parents of your child's friends and finally deal with your own peer pressure. ||Try to keep other elements of your baby's routine as normal as possible during the strike. ||If every feeding is painful or your baby isn't gaining weight, ask a lactation consultant or your baby's doctor for help ||Use a firm mattress and avoid placing your baby on thick, fluffy padding that may interfere with breathing if your baby's face presses against it ||Stop the continuous criticism to your teens. Highlight their qualities instead. ||Excessive warmth and overdressing are as harmful as cold weather. Temperature inside your home should not exceed 23 degrees ||

Sessions will be held by Mrs. Sherine Khalil, General Psychology Specialist, at our Mohandessin branch. Each session lasts for 45 minutes.

What do these sessions cover?

  • Counseling children, adolescents and parents; providing support and guidance in relational, academic, emotional and personal areas.
  • Observing children and identifying those with specific challenges (hx of abuse, anxieties, ADHD).
  • Planning and implementing intervention programs both on individual and group level.
  • Counseling teachers of students with challenging behaviors.
  • Assessment of children's abilities and personality traits.
  • Integration of children with disabilities into main stream classes.
  • Training teachers on child development, class management and other related topics.

Activities are available in Arabic, English and German languages.
