Excessive warmth and overdressing are as harmful as cold weather. Temperature inside your home should not exceed 23 degrees ||Toddler's appetite may change almost daily. Let her be the judge of how much she needs and wants to eat. ||Don't allow your pet on the couch while you are holding baby. This makes dogs bigger and taller in relation to your infant and may encourage aggression. ||Don’t rush into solving your kid's problems. Give him the chance to conclude, all on his own, that things are going to be okay. ||Sleep sacks and sufficient layers of clothing are safe alternatives to blankets for children less than six months of age ||Breastfeeding releases Oxytocin which causes contractions of the uterus, helping to stop hemorrhage and initiating weight loss ||Look for early signs of hunger, such as stirring and stretching, sucking motions and lip movements. Fussing and crying are later cues ||The more you help your toddler put his feelings into words (“I’m mad. I want the truck.” “I’m sad. I can’t find my bear.”), the less they will show aggressive behaviour. ||Stop the continuous criticism to your teens. Highlight their qualities instead. ||Make a habit out of drinking a glass of water every time you feed your baby. ||
Sweat rash

It is a common cause of rash during summer season.

· It is a Maculopapular rash due to mechanical obstruction of the sweat ducts.

· The neck, trunk, diaper area and the covered areas of the skin are the commonest sites of affection.

· Most parents and grandparents are afraid of the cold, many do even advice an extra layer of clothes to your baby . This is not true: it is normal for the babies to sneeze, to have green colored stools, to have slightly cold hands these are not indications that your baby is cold. The only true indication is a cold tip of the nose. It is normal to dress your baby as you dress, to turn the air condition on without fears.
Management:

· Avoid further sweating

· Do not irritate the skin :Avoidance of excessive clothing

· Cooling of the affected area by Cool water compresses

· Avoid using talc powder, ointments and creams as they will further increase the mechanical obstruction.

· Calamine lotion
