2- Breastfeeding your new baby ...Breast milk provides all the nutrients that babies need for the first six months of their life and guards against many illnesses and allergies. Also, breastfeeding can help build a special closeness with your baby. Breastfeeding is one of the best things you can do for your baby. ||Bathe baby for no more than ten minutes in warm water especially if he shows signs of skin eczema. ||To help your kid stand up to negative peer pressure, encourage him to talk, use role playing with him, get to know the parents of your child's friends and finally deal with your own peer pressure. ||Set aside time to spend with each child individually, so they don't feel like they're competing for your attention ||Most newborns need eight to 12 feedings a day — about one feeding every two to three hours ||If your child's scalp is very crusty, put some baby oil or olive oil on the scalp 1 hour before washing to soften the crust ||Ask your baby's doctor about vitamin D supplements for the baby, especially if you're breast-feeding ||Always check the water temperature with your hand before bathing your baby. Be sure the room is comfortably warm, too ||Newborns are expected to lose some weight after delivery due to fluid loss. Don’t worry ||Alternate the first breast you offer at each feed ||
Fisher-Price recall

Fisher-Price has recalled more than 11 million toys for various reasons, including 7 million tricycles with a protruding key that has caused genital injuries to young girls.

There have been 10 reports of injuries from the tricycles, including six incidents requiring medical attention after 2- and 3-year-old girls fell on the disc- or D-shaped keys. Some of these injuries resulted in genital bleeding.

At the same time, Fisher-Price is announcing recalls of several other toys with parts that pose a choking hazard and recalls of high chairs with pegs on the rear legs that have cut or otherwise injured children.

Details on each of the recalls can be found in the following link
