Human faces fascinate babies ||Toddler's appetite may change almost daily. Let her be the judge of how much she needs and wants to eat. ||The only acceptable punishment for our children is time-out. No spanking, no shouting and no threatening ||Reading aloud will help your baby be a better reader when she's older. ||Plan for regular family meals. Enjoy being together as a family and give a chance for everyone to decompress from the day ||Whenever possible, don't get involved in your kids' clash. Step in only if there's a danger of physical harm. ||

    • Upon arrival for the day
    • When moving from one child care group to another
    • Before and after eating or touching food or food preparation surfaces
    • Before and after giving medication
    • Before and after playing in water that is used by more than one person
    • After diapering
    • After using the toilet or helping children use the toilet
    • After handling any body fluid, such as nasal discharge, blood, vomit, or drool
    • After playing in sandboxes
    • After handling garbage
