    • Upon arrival for the day
    • When moving from one child care group to another
    • Before and after eating or touching food or food preparation surfaces
    • Before and after giving medication
    • Before and after playing in water that is used by more than one person
    • After diapering
    • After using the toilet or helping children use the toilet
    • After handling any body fluid, such as nasal discharge, blood, vomit, or drool
    • After playing in sandboxes
    • After handling garbage
